FAQ's
Q: Does Laser Hair Therapy (LHT) work for everyone?
A: Although
individuals results may vary, light energy is what hair
craves for stimulation and growth. Men and Women alike
can reap the benefits this concentrated light source or Laser Hair Therapy offers.
Q: Is laser light therapy safe?
A:
All of our Products comply with Laser product safety standards
and use lasers approved for non medical use. Hair Growth
Centers of America Products use Class 3A lasers providing
a power level of light energy(5 Milo watt, 650 NM Wave
length) that is safe, harmless and effective for possible
hair regeneration.
Q: How long does it take to see results?
A: Although
reports of positive effects have been reported in as little
as 14 days, most individuals experience results in 12
to 24 weeks. Of course, everybody is different and individual
results may vary.
Q: If I already use Rogaine or Propecia can
I still use LHT?
A: Yes, it
is harmless to use LHT while using topical's. Using both
may enhance your results.
Q: Is clean hair important for my session to
be successful?
A: We recommend
a clean scalp, free of oils and buildup. You can even
use the LHT on wet freshly washed hair.
Q: I've been balding for years. Am I too late?
A: No, you
are not too late to stop hair loss. Our customers have shown remarkable
results from heads nearly devoid of growth. The LHT will
not grow new hair where there are no follicles. It will
stimulate dormant hair follicles and tiny vellus hair
(peach fuzz) that you cannot see. The results may vary
but our customers have seen amazing results. Total baldness
cannot be reversed but it can be prevented if you take
action as soon as possible.
Q: Does LHT work on the entire head or only
on the back?
A: Yes, LHT
may improve the appearance of the entire head: back, front,
top and sides.
Q: I am just starting to notice my hair beginning
to thin, is it too soon to start using LHT?
A: It is actually
never too soon to start. The better the initial condition
of your hair, the better your results with LHT can be.
Q: Can people of all ages benefit from using
LHT?
A: Studies
have shown that low level laser therapy (LLLT) is effective
in people ages 18 and older. For people under the age
of 18, we recommend you consult your physician prior to
using LHT.
Q: Does LHT work for women?
A: Yes, LHT
has delivered great results as a solution for hair loss in women.
Q: Can I use LHT if I have already had transplant
surgery?
A: This practice
is encouraged by an increasing number of hair transplant
surgeons worldwide. LHT has been shown to increase the
recovery time in hair transplant patients, and also to
increase the look of the transplanted hairs in a positive
manner (making them appear thicker, fuller, and healthier).
Q: Can LHT affect my hair in a negative way?
A: LHT promotes
a healthier environment for your hair, and in so doing,
has no negative effects on your hair.
Q: What about visual safety?
A:
As with ANY LASER PRODUCT, the laser beam should at no
time be pointed into your eyes. Emissions are considered
to be a chronic viewing hazard. Direct exposure to laser
emissions may cause damage to your eyes. If you have children,
keep this unit in a secure area when not in use. You are
advised not to look into the laser and be careful not
to reflect it off a mirror or any reflective surface that
may cause the beam to inadvertently strike anyone’s
eyes or a pet’s eye.
